Under the patronage of His Excellency the Prime Minister, Professor Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, 
and with the generous support of Professor Dr. Ibrahim Saber, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and within the framework of supporting the state’s efforts, represented by the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education, to improve the quality of education and achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, 
Horus University – Egypt, on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, hosted the initiative: 
“A New Beginning for Quality Education” 
In attendance were the following members of the Board of Trustees: 
Professor Dr. Hassan El-Shenawy 
Professor Dr. Adel Deif 
Professor Dr. El-Saeed Abdel-Hadi, President of the University 
Professor Dr. Mohamed Daboun, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs 
Professor Dr. Magda Nasr, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research 
Professor Dr. Adel Hassan, Director of the University’s Quality Assurance Center 
The event was also attended by Professor Dr. Hesham Abdel Nasser, Advisor to the Chairman of the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education and Executive Director of the Initiative, and Dr. Hussein Khater, Training Officer and Official Spokesperson for the Initiative, along with the Directors of Quality Units at the colleges, faculty members, and university students. 
The event included a discussion of concepts related to quality education and the role of Egyptian university students in promoting quality and academic excellence by raising their awareness of the importance of quality and accreditation and equipping them with the necessary skills to prepare them for the job market. 
The day concluded with the honoring of the Initiative’s representatives and the Directors of Quality Units at the university’s colleges on behalf of Horus University – Egypt. The National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education also presented certificates of appreciation to university students in recognition of their outstanding participation during the event.
