Under the patronage of Professor Ibrahim Saber, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Horus University, Egypt, the Horus Cultural Salon at the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design hosted the renowned artist, Professor Ahmed Nawar, in an exceptional meeting that blended creativity, intellect, and human and national history. He was received by Professor El-Saeed Abdel-Hadi, President of Horus University; Professor Magda Nasr, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research and Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy; Professor Mohamed El-Shahat, Vice President for International Relations and Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry; and under the supervision of Professor Omar Ghoneim, Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design. During the meeting, Professor Nawar presented a rich account of his artistic, humanitarian, and military journey, and spoke about the role of art in shaping awareness, building hope, and serving society. The dialogue was profound and inspiring, reflecting the guest’s stature and his significant contributions to the development of visual arts in Egypt.
